Disposable infusion sets are Class III medical devices, conforming to the GB 8368-1998 standard, and are primarily used to establish intravenous infusion access. The product consists of an intravenous needle, needle cap, infusion tubing, medication filter, flow regulator, drip chamber, stopper puncture device, and air filter. Some models are equipped with injection ports or medication dispensing ports.

 

1. They replenish fluids, electrolytes, and essential elements such as potassium and sodium ions, primarily for patients with diarrhea.

 

2. They supplement nutrition and enhance the body's disease resistance, such as by supplementing protein and fat emulsions, primarily for wasting diseases such as burns and tumors.

 

3. They are used in conjunction with treatment, such as for administering medication.

 

4. They are used for emergency treatment, expanding blood volume, and improving microcirculation, such as in cases of massive hemorrhage and shock.
