A disposable venous blood collection needle is a needle used in medical testing to collect blood samples. Its tip, the collection needle, is used to puncture a blood vessel, while the other end, a transparent flexible tube, is connected to the needle. The needle is wrapped in a rubber tube and covered with a needle cap, and is used to pierce a vacuum blood collection tube. The negative pressure inside the tube draws blood into the tube.
1. Carefully read the instruction manual before using the vacuum blood collection device and strictly follow the instructions.
2. Choose a large vein for puncture if possible.
3. After blood collection, first remove the blood collection tube from the stopper end, then remove the needle.
4. Do not loosen the cap of the disposable vacuum blood collection tube before use to prevent inaccurate blood volume.
5. If several samples need to be collected at once, collect blood in the following order: blood culture tube, tube without anticoagulant and additives, blood clotting tube, tube with anticoagulant.
6. The latex sleeve at the tip of the needle prevents continued bleeding and contamination of the surrounding area after the blood collection tube is removed, thus achieving the function of sealing the blood collection area and preventing environmental pollution. Therefore, the latex sleeve should not be removed.
